The service
Sidebar Finance provides financial education and coaching. It does not provide investment, tax, or legal advice, recommend specific securities or products, or manage money. See Coaching, not advice for the full picture. Every decision about your money is yours.
Booking and payment
Paid services are paid in advance, in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.
Prices are per household. Partners may attend together at no extra charge.
The Sidebar ($300) credits toward a Money Reset if you upgrade within 30 days.
In Your Corner ($1,500/year) is available after a completed Money Reset and is paid annually in advance.
Rescheduling and no-shows
Reschedule free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice.
Less than 24 hours’ notice, or not showing up, forfeits that session. One courtesy exception per client, at Aman’s discretion.
Refunds
The Sidebar: full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the session, or if you tell me within 48 hours after the session that it wasn’t worth it.
Money Reset: if you stop partway, sessions used are charged at $300 each and the balance is refunded. If your goal is done in fewer than three sessions, the remaining session stays yours for three months.
In Your Corner: full refund within 30 days if we haven’t met. After that, unused full quarters are refunded.
Check-in ($150, 45 minutes, past clients): full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the session.
Projections and information
Projections are illustrations based on assumptions, not predictions or guarantees. Actual results will differ.
You’re responsible for giving accurate, complete information, and for your own decisions and actions.
Confidentiality
What you share is confidential and handled as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Sidebar Finance’s total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in question.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
